I attended Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City both as a full-time and part-time student from 2013-2017. During my time at the college, I worked as a Student Assistant for the Office of Student Affairs and was able to build some lasting friendships and professional relationships that have referred people to my photography services over the years.

Though I lived in Orlando, FL at the time, I was asked to return to TC to photograph a ceremony in June that was halted by COVID-19 for two years - their Staff Recognition Ceremony. It was a 2-day celebration of faculty and staff who have been at the college for anywhere from 10 to 55+ years.

Part of my role those days were to capture individual photos of each of the honorees receiving their awards. To not make this post super long, I will only show a few of those individual photos.

I photographed this event on my own and was glad to be called in for this project. I had a great time covering the event.
