NYC Photo Walk - 2019 / by Christian Hernandez

Last year in early September, I went up to New York City to photograph Teachers College, Columbia University's new student orientation. While I was there, I had the opportunity to take some time for myself and walk around New York City, reminiscing on old times and photographing. I wrote a blog post (here). I lived in New York for 5 years and had a lot of great memories around the city. Several of which included walking around Manhattan alone and with friends taking photos in 2014.

This year, I was asked to photograph the orientation again and had the same opportunity to walk around the city and photograph on my down time.

Similar to last year, walking around the city and photographing whatever seemed interesting to me was amazing. It was so good to see places I’ve been before in a new light.

Here's some of my favorite photos of what I captured this time.
